Alexis Wood is a dedicated nurse practitioner with extensive experience in internal medicine and primary care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Troy University in 2008 and her Master of Science in Nursing in 2013. Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Alexis has over 11 years of experience in internal medicine and now focuses her expertise and passion on caring for patients in the Hematology and Oncology setting. She is a proud member of AANP and NPAA. Alexis and her wonderful husband, Seaborn Wood, reside in Dothan, Alabama and have two beautiful children. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with family and friends, exercising, gardening, reading, and learning.
