A 1982 graduate of Trevecca Nazarene College in Nashville, Dr. Dunn earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1986 before further training in internal medicine, hematology, and oncology at the Albert B. Chandler Medical Center at the University of Kentucky.

After falling in love with the area and its people, Dr. Dunn joined Dothan Hematology & Oncology in 1991, and has devoted nearly 30 years to providing hope and care to patients. While educating them is key, he also encourages them to cope by holding strongly to their passions and interests. He builds a relationship with each patient, relating to their family, where they’re from, and what’s most important to them. The treatment process is founded on this bond.

Board-certified for decades in internal medicine as well as medical oncology, Dr. Dunn is a past chairman of the Cancer Committee at both Flowers Hospital and Southeast Health in Dothan. He is also a licensed private pilot and frequently lends his vocal skills to men’s quartets.
